This ambitious project aims to provide essential water resources for North Texas while also delivering significant economic and recreational benefits to nearby communities. The lake promises a myriad of outdoor activities including fishing, boating, and nature viewing, thereby fostering additional commercial and industrial opportunities.

Recreation
Boating: Motor boating, paddle boarding, kayaking, sailboats and more. Plans are underway for public boat ramps/docks around the future reservoir.
Fishing: Partnered with TPWD + Toyota ShareLunker Program + Bass Pro Shops. Largemouth Bass, bluegill sunfish, gizzard shad, black & white crappie, channel & blue catfish, and more.
Hunting & Camping: Planning is underway to allow permitted hunting and designated camping at Lake Ralph Hall.
Ladonia Fossil Park: Situated on the east side of FM 2990 and north of the North Sulphur River, this area attracts fossil hunters eager to uncover a diverse array of fossils and artifacts from the Cretaceous period.
